At the beginning there was the mailing list, created to share one of my passions: quotations!
After a few years of thriving and successful activity, the mailing list dwindled, the messages became increasingly sparse, and at a certain point I was the only one posting with any regularity. So I thought of a way to revive Frasi_Z, and I came up with a rather drastic solution: close the mailing list and turn it into a blog! And so... here we are! :)
The old posts are all in italian, the newer one are often bilingual.
Just to be clear: the blog was born on July 2, 2012, while the mailing list had already existed since 2002. Since so many phrases have been posted over time and I was sorry to lose them, I reposted some of them here on the blog but backdated them to the day they were posted on the mailing list. This is in case anyone was wondering why there are posts that are even ten years old! :) Then unfortunately, Yahoo deleted all the mailing lists and all those phrases were lost! :'(
